April, it can't be April already!!

Greetings in the Name of Jesus. Wow another month has passed. Seems like yesterday that we were telling you about what happened in February. We are so excited about what is happening in Central America. In this newsletter we will be sharing with you what took place this last month here and in Africa. We are so blessed to have you as friends and partners of this ministry, we would like to just take a moment to say thank you for being a great blessings to us and so many people. We appreciate you so much, thank you for your prayers and support. You are a very important & vital part of what we are doing. There are not enough words to truly express how we feel about you, your involvement with Flames of Fire Ministry.  Once again Thank You so much, together we are making a difference in Central America.

Pastor in Shalaguá gets new home

We are always so privileged to host one of our most faithful partners in the ministry......Gainesville Church of God.  They came in March as they do each year to bless the beautiful Chorti people and this ministry personally.  Gainesville, we just want to say that we love you and appreciate all of your hard work. We hope to have some photos on the website of the house before long, we are waiting to get some from some of the other team members!  The camera wound up with the medical team!!!

Hiking into the hard to reach villages with the gospel and medical care

Hiking into the villages for up to 30 minutes, we took medical care and free medicine to the recently built 100 club churches.  Not only were we able to bless one of our pastors in Shalaguá with a house, but we took much needed medical care deep into the unreached villages of Eastern Guatemala.  So much good has come out of the clinics that were done. So very many accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!  There were probably around 100 altogether!!  As an added blessing, several people were able to be seen by a team hosted by another missionary who was doing cataract surgery at no cost!  One little boy Miguel had a tumor growing on the outside of his eyeball, and for almost his whole life he has felt like an outcast in the village, wearing a ball cap to hide his eye.  The Drs. were able to operate and remove the tumor!

Jambo from Kenya, Africa!

The trip to Africa was absolutely wonderful.  Seeing the village churches was so exciting for us. We love to be able to minister to the pastors and church members. There we were, participating as part of a group, depending on translators to be able to talk with the people--just as so many of you have coming down to Guatemala.  We had the opportunity to give hand-woven bags (hand made by people were we built a church in Guatemala) to the pastors of the churches. They were so blessed by it. Also, we were able to give away 240 bibles to the churches. On an average, there were  just one to three bibles in each church with anywhere from 20 to 100 people in each church. So it was a tremendous need.  But it was really special because the money for the bibles did not come from someone in the United States, but from someone here in Guatemala. Our God is so great, the person who gave the money had problems with his ears for some time.  But after the Lord spoke to him and He gave the money for the bibles he was healed totally of the ear problems. PTL! So we were blessed with being the vessel to get the bibles to the village churches in Kenya and the village churches had their prayers answered.  Here are a few photos to show you a few of the things that we did and saw in Kenya. We will be doing a special report just on what all went on in Kenya.  Click here for the full report

Honduras is building as fast as they can

Church building is going great we added three more, giving us a total of five so far this year. Praise the Lord there are more on the way. We are planning and scheduling them as quickly as we can. We are so excited about the being able to build in Honduras, touching areas that we have ministered in years passed.  They are working hard building churches where there aren't any!  We are going into Honduras next week to dedicate 3!  While there we will be approving the construction of several more.  Please pray for us as we travel.

Until next month, remember.....

Together we are making a difference!
