We can't thank you enough for your prayers and offerings, and for praying for the villagers as they are recovering from terrible destruction. We have an update on their situation. Your faithful partnership with us helps take the gospel into villages that have not yet been evangelized. Together we are Changing Eastern Guatemala. We so very much appreciate your love and generosity. This is a new email newsletter format. Please let us know how this new format works for you. Christmas Basket
Drive Begins

In this photo little Lorenzo Garcia writes "Happy New Year I give you many thanks for the food". Yes, It's that time of year again! Time to begin the big Christmas basket giveaway! We have done all of our calculations and $25 per family will purchase all of the necessary ingredients for all of the feeding center families to enjoy a special meal on Christmas Eve. Last year you were so generous that we were able to purchase each child in every family a new toy. As well as toys, we were able to fit each feeding center child with a new pair of shoes. On top of the food, toys, and shoes we were able to give every family a warm blanket for those cold mountain nights! As we stated earlier

	Food will run approx.. $25 per family.
	Toys about $2 each.
	Blankets $5 each.
	We have 231 families
	647 children (506 children in the feeding program with an additional 141 children brothers and sisters of feeding center children.)

Landslide Victims need a place to live!

We wrote you last month about the horrible devastation left behind after the landslides and fault lines opening up. In the village of Pacren is where our churches were hardest hit. There were 10 families that lost their homes due to landslides and they have been living in a couple of dirt floor rooms beside the church. They not only lost their homes, but they also lost their land! It is uninhabitable, now-dangling on the side of the mountain just waiting for the next heavy rain to wash even more away. We have an opportunity to help these 10 families. Although their homes were meager shacks of mud and palm, they still need a piece of land to rebuild on. That's where we come in.

We can purchase a piece of land that will be evenly divided into 10 33'x33' plots for only $3000 total! That is about $300 per family. Please pray that the Lord would help us help them.

Outreaches: Ladies Conference & India Trip

ladies conf 1 "Strong Women Conferene 2008" coming in November! We are expecting between 500 and 1000 to attend. We always hear so many praise reports of healings, bondages being broken and even miraculous provision. Please stand with us in prayer over this years conference November 4-5. The village women will come down from their villages for a 2 day time of refreshing. Many have never been out of their villages. They come believing for a miracle, for refreshing and for God to speak to their hearts. He always meets them there!

Also, immediately following Christmas we are going to India for 2 weeks! We will be traveling to Delhi, and then out into some villages to minister. If you desire to give toward that missionary journey please mark your offering Larry Johnson/India.

Until next month, we just want to remind you that we are praying for you. Also, our website is still under construction and all of the links do not work just yet. There have been a few unavoidable delays due to hurricanes etc. Most of the site is functional and will be so much better once it is compete!

Please continue to pray for us as church construction continues, we built several more in August, we will be dedicating those in the weeks to come.
