me n you

Here it is almost Easter, and it seems like this year is flying by. We are having a great time being His hands, His feet and His voice. A lot of great things are happening here, people are being ministered to.......from the children to the adults.  But it would not be possible with out you. You are a true blessing, praying for and with us. Your giving is making a difference in the lives of so many people.

Thank you so much for all you are doing.  Together we are changing eastern Guatemala, village by village.

New Pastor's house
Medical team
and Children's Ministry

Gainesville Church of God came with a medical team, a construction team and a children's ministry team....and they came prepared to hike in every day 20 minutes down and then 20 minutes back up!  It was quite a climb as we hiked in every morning and out every afternoon, but we did it!

The Construction team came to build a house for Pastor Rosael who was living in a room palm hut with his entire family!  Thanks to the Lord and Gainesville he now has a new block home!

The children's ministry team sang, painted, danced, colored, played, did dramas and who knows what all else with the children of the village every single day....all day long!  Many accepted Jesus in the hearts too!

The medical team saw close to 800 patients!  Our daughter, Tiffany even came to help out!

The people streamed in all day long and they were each treated with love and care as if they were the only people there!  We gave them the medicine free and also the gospel.  Many gave their hearts to the Lord.  The pastor reported that after the only other medical team that has ever been to that village 4 years ago...and it was also GCOG, that the entire spiritual climate of the village turned around.  We are believing for a major spiritual breakthrough for Guareruche.

One man, who has been very hard against the gospel said that just because of the love he could see through this team that he was thinking about becoming a Christian.  Please pray for strongholds to be broken and lives to be changed.

On the last day we stayed for a dynamic church service and hiked out long after dark!  What a week, thanks GCOG!

Nueva Esperanza gets a new kitchen and eating area
old kitchen
On the left is the old kitchen in the village of Nueva Esperanza left a lot to be desired. We are very happy that as of last week they have a new kitchen!

The team worked very hard all week long doing construction and the ladies did vbs for the kiddos! The children will surely love the new eating area as much as the ladies love the new kitchen!
