Your prayers were
greatly appreciated and felt!
We are so
grateful for prayer partners like you, We are thankful for
your prayers because they go before us and make the crooked
places straight, through them the Lord strengthens us. And
because of your freewill offerings the work continues to grow,
children are fed, churches are built, pastors are ministered
to, and thanksgiving resounds to God from us as well as the
villagers.
Together we are
the change! We always say it but we always mean it,
YOU are
the best!
Your Missionaries,
Larry & Marla

Landslide
Victims Rebuild
Twenty seven families began rebuilding their lives in
February. They had lost everything that they had...including
their land in a massive landslide provoked by rains and
shifting fault lines. But the Lord touched hearts and Grace
Christian Fellowship Church purchased land for them.
Gainesville Church of God was also moved with compassion and
donated funds that will be used to bring fresh water to the
new homes. In the 2 photos to the right you will see the
poles going up for the new thatch huts. Below left is Marla
with one of the women in her new one room hut. She lives
there with her husband and son, behind her the mud stove that
she built to cook on. She told us that she had a daughter
that was 2, but when she got a fever because they have no
money they could not get medical care and the little girl died
a few months ago.

Brand new palm huts
gave a fresh start to 27 families that lost everything
The hut on the left is home to 5
children as well as the mother and father. Every home has
it's story but they are all so very thankful for their land
and home, they asked us to thank you! We went from hut to
hut and prayed dedicating them to the Lord, there were tears
of sadness recalling what was lost and tears of joy for the
new start they have been given.

A
Pastor, a missionary, and a horse!
Gaphill Church of God purchased a horse for Pastor
Nathanael in Nueva Esperanza, and he is so happy not to be
walking for hours to the many villages that he oversees.
River of Life COG and High Praises COG teamed up to dedicate
the horse (probably a first), and buy a much needed saddle.
It was quite a day of celebration as the whole village turned
out to see...there was food for everyone, candy and toys for
the children, and of course a brand new horse and saddle for
Nathanael!
Pastor Joe Vicars ministered to Brother Nathanael and then
they actually brought the horse right into the church, laid
hands on him and prayed long life and health over him for
the ministry!

PASTORS
CONFERENCES WERE A BLESSING TO THE MEN SERVING ON THE FRONT
LINES!
It was a tremendous blessing as Pastor Doug Bartsch and his
team came to teach and minister to the wonderful group of
pastors that we have joined forces with to change this part of
the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They often suffer
tremendous persecution, loss of life, and great physical harm
to preach the gospel in the villages. It was a blessing to
minister to their needs and equip them with new ideas for
changing their villages. Two conferences were given, one here
at the ministry center and another in Honduras.
Many of our pastors live so far way that we are now mounting
a new effort, together with Pastor Chuck Allen of Potters
House, to minister to the "forgotten" pastors along the
Mexico border and in the department of Coban. He has
graciously accepted the challenge of going the
distance
to reach the wonderful men of God in these 2 far away
departments. He is coming in May to hold our very first
conferences in those 2 departments! |

We pray for you, that you be strong, healthy and that the
economy only work to your favor. The same God that made an
axe head swim/float in 2 Kings 6 can work a miracle in your
situation as well, especially when we throw that blessed
stick of calvary. So, when you don't see a way out...when
it seems hopeless...when you don't know what to do,
remember;
Gal 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the
law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed
is every one that hangeth on a tree:
May God Bless you and Keep you,
Larry Johnson
