In uncertain times.....we
still live by faith. We are using our faith to
touch heaven for you, our partner in the gospel. God is not limited to
the economy of the United States. The same God that sent Elijah to the
brook and commanded ravens to feed him there....the same God that later
sent him to Zarephath and had a widow woman with a handful of meal and
sustained him there...that same God is doing a miracles today for his
children.
We have refused to draw back, cut down, slow up, shut
up, withdraw, retreat, or look back.
We declare that our best
days are ahead, and so are yours.
We
will do more in '09 than ever before.....together we are
STILL the change!

March....a month of construction and ministry!
Praise the Lord for willing vessels! A precious team from Archer,
Florida came this month and built a kitchen for our Tizamarte feeding
center! We were using a borrowed adobe room for the kitchen, but now
we have not only a kitchen but restrooms! We think that just about
the whole village came out to see the activities. They spent several
nights in the village, sleeping in sleeping bags under the covering of
the church roof. They ministered to the children at the feeding
center, giving away toys and candy....and their hearts! They were
touched and changed forever...as were the villagers. We send a huge
thank you to them for bringing blessing to Tizamarte!.

Medical clinics impact villages with gospel!
 Many
people will come to a medical clinic that would not come to a church
service. We are privileged to partner with Gainesville Church of God
every year to take much needed medical care far into the mountains of
Eastern Guatemala. But it is more than just medical care, all hear the
life changing message of Jesus Christ. Our precious daughter,
Tiffany (photo right) came to help translate for this
team. She is such a blessing to the ministry! We praise the Lord for
the medical team that worked so hard, as a result many gave their hearts
to the Lord in Suchiquer Centro, Quebrada Seca, and Pacren.
As busy as the medical team was...seeing 130+ patients with only one
doc, he still took time to pass out Oreo cookies and connect on a
personal level with his patients.
Everyone gets free medicine....and hope for better lives!

Children's Ministry shares the message of Christ!
 The
children's ministry team from Gainesville has it down to a
perfection....they have come to Guatemala so many years, coupled with
the fact that they practice so much, that they are pros at what they
do. They minister with puppets/balloons/skits/songs, they do it all!
This year we also took a day to go over the border to a park in
Honduras. Many made decisions for Christ through their hard work.
  
They also went into a public school in one village (center photo) and
the teachers even released school classes that day so that they could
use the facility for the program! There were about 130 kids there that
day....they all heard the gospel in terms that they could easily
understand.
Many adults heard the message of salvation as well as children.

Pacren gets new eating area to accommodate 100!
 In
addition to the medical clinics that Gainesville COG did, they also
brought a construction crew that enlarged the eating area for the
Pacren feeding center. We had been making do with a much too small
eating area for months now. The new area is so very nice and there is
plenty of room for all the children!
