Greetings in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you finished strong in the Lord in 2008 and that you continue strong in 2009.  We brought in the New Year here, in Guatemala and we already have much going on. In less than 3 weeks we will be on our way to India for a 2 week trip ministering in a Bible school and many different churches.  Some of which were built by our home church just as we do here in Guatemala. This will be our first trip to India and we are excited and believe we will see many salvations as we minister the word.  Much of our trip will be ministry to the body of Christ and equipping young men for the ministry.  We are asking God for an outpouring of His Spirit.  We will be travelling on the 21st to India and returning on the 4th of February.  We ask for your prayers over this trip for safety, health, salvations and for all of our expenses to be met.

We are still praying over our funds, we need about $1000.  So, if you would like to be a part of this outreach please drop us a line and send offerings to: Grace Christian Fellowship Church, 405 Rayford Rd., Spring, TX 77386.
Christmas Outreach
Within a few days we will be sending out a special update with pics of the Christmas outreach.  Approximately 250 baskets of food were given out with your generous help!  So many were touched this year.  It was one woman's last chance to hear the gospel....read all about it soon!

Be Strong in the Lord Ladies Conference 2008 750 Women Strong!

me and larry 2008 ladiesThe village women traveled so far to be in these meetings.  Many traveled for more than 4 hours!  Some as many as 7 hours.  But God touched them as they came with faith.

During the 2 day conference many were healed, set free, and saved.  There were about 30 saved on the 2nd day of the conference.  There are reports already coming in about healings too!

The weather was great for traveling.  Thank you so much for praying over this conference with us.

night service

It was great, 1000 people came, about 800 adults and 200-300 (at least) children!  Some calculate even more.  We had battles every step of the way.  The school that we were using would not allow us to use the electricity like we had done last year, the generator locked up, many more showed up than we thought--we planned on 750 and had 1000-1100, which is great except at mealtime!  The volunteers  were scrambling at that first meal to make it work.

But with every great victory there is usually a great battle!  right?  Well, the Lord moved greatly in the services and I know that we will hear of the miracles that were done. One  session was about being strong enough, determined enough, even in the difficult times to touch the heart of God--to seek him, to touch the hem of his garment, to press in, to cry out as the widow and the unjust judge.....but how much more will He (God) avenge His elect, some versions say speedily, mine says without delay, or suddenly!  Another session dealt with allowing your light to shine...even as women in the village!  Being a witness everywhere, in the market, at home, and even at the river washing clothes.  We taught them on the baptism of the Holy Ghost and so much more. They left filled with power and uplifted by the Lord.

Pastors Meeting

pastors2

The 2nd day of the conference we gathered all of the pastors and their wives for a special time of refreshing. We blessed them with a small gift and then ministered to them on the foundation for ministry--the cement that holds it all together.  Love.  The recipe for love found in 1 Cor. 13.  It was a powerful time of restoration from the hurts that can come to ministers.
