We want to take this time to thank you once again for your
faithfulness and generosity to us personally and to the
work here in Guatemala and Central America. As we are all
thinking and perhaps planning Thanksgiving day, our hearts
are turned toward you. We are so thankful to God for
you. You make what we do so much easier through your
love, prayers, and support. Despite the economic crisis,
despite all of the battles thrown our way, we have been
able to accomplish so much this year together. We truly
are the change for eastern Guatemala. Together we are a
great team. You are phenominal! In 2008 we:
Saw hundreds accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior
Built 18 churches
Built one new feeding center
Opened 2 new feeding centers
Doubled the capacity of one feeding center from 50 to
100
Prepared and served over 57,000 meals!
Purchased land for 21 displaced families from the
fault lines opening and swallowing their land. Now they
have a place to live!
Held 2 pastor's Conferences
Had the annual Ladies Conference
Held medical clinics, treated hundreds of people
Installed water to two feeding centers
Distributed 2 tons of food to the landslide victims
Distributed 4.5 tons of food via christmas baskets to
180 families
Toys to all the children for christmas
500 children received a pair of new shoes
180 families received a blanket
Started a school in the train tracks feeding center to
open in Feb 2009

Please continue to pray over our big Christmas Outreach. We want
to bless the feeding center families with food and toys but we
also want to reach those who have not given their hearts to the
Lord yet. It is the perfect opportunity to tell them about why
Jesus came to earth, born of a virgin so long ago. Please pray
for the finances to complete this project and for the anointing to
be on the pastors as they each share the message of Christ with
the families when they come to receive their food.
